The Process
How it Starts
We begin our process of selecting a new steward for one of our handover vehicles by creating a shortlist of cars. These can include modern classics or newer cars with soul and personality. From there, we conduct a poll with our members on The Registry to discover which model is most attractive, intriguing, and interesting to our community. In the case of the 987.2 Boxster, this was the very first vehicle so we did our own due diligence and hoped our community would value our first choice. Read on to discover what happens next.

The Next Steps
We secure the vehicle by purchasing it outright and begin creating video and photo content with it. We create several pieces of content for our YouTube channel, sharing and documenting the lesser known qualities of the car. On The Registry, we provide behind the scenes access and looks to anything our members would like to know about the car. We put on minimal mileage on the vehicle so as to not incur any more wear and tear than would be desirable by the next steward. This period lasts roughly 180 days. Then, the allocation begins.
Selecting the Next Steward
Those who enrolled as members during the content creation period are afforded a select amount of ballots towards selection and will be entered into consideration for the handover. Members are afforded different amounts of ballots based on their tier. Others who have purchased apparel during this period are also afforded an opportunity for selection. We highly encourage all potential members, curious minds, and enthusiasts to read our official rules.
Allocation
Using our proprietary method, we arrive at an individual who is selected for allocation. This individual will receive the vehicle, title, keys, all documentation known and available to us about the vehicle, and a select amount of Rearview Artifacts to enjoy. The individual selected for allocation will have the vehicle delivered to their home free of charge at a day and time of their choosing. After allocation, The Registry will come together to select the next automotive artifact and the process repeats.
